- September 29, 2004
- GPT-4.0a1 was released. This release is the alpha for a new GPT which generalize the features that were implemented specifically for Globus Toolkit version 2 releases. Details are here.

- GPT-3.2 was released. This release only contains some bug fixes which address gpt-build. It contains a version of the globus_core package (3.14) which only works with version 3.2 or later of the Globus Toolkit. Older versions of the toolkit should be built with GPT-3.1..

- GPT-3.1 was released. This release contains a new script called gpt-config which manages local GPT settings and a lot of bug fixes. Details are here.

- GPT-3.0.1 was released. This release contains globus_core version 2.14. Also the Redhat 8.0 RPM has been fixed.here.

- GPT-3.0 was released. This release is now considered the current stable release. It is backwards compatible to both GPT-2.x and GPT-1.x bundles, packages, and installations. A description of the changes for this release are found here.

- The bug database is now bugzilla.ncsa.uiuc.edu instead of cvs.ncsa.uiuc.edu.

- GPT-3.0rc1 was released. This release contains globus_core version 2.9 and resolve a 2.x bundle regression as well as other fixes.

- GPT-2.2.9 was released. This release contains globus_core version 2.9.

- GPT-3.0b2 was released. This release contains the same fixes as GPT-2.2.8. Also gpt-virtual-pkg now works.

- GPT-2.2.8 was released. This release fixes some gpt-build problems and supresses some noisy build_gpt messages. The release also includes version 2.8 of globus_core which fixes some problems with the mpi builds.

- GPT-3.0b2 was released. This release fixed some problems with gpt-build.
- January 28, 2003
- GPT-3.0b1 was released. This release is the first 3.0 release which features better bundle management and MD5 checksums for installed files.

- GPT-2.2.8b1 was released. This release included version 2.8 of globus core which fix some problems with mpicc build flavors and the intel compiler on IA-64 platforms. The release is a beta because it is still undergoing testing.
