Some people ask me why I like Salvia. It’s an interesting question, and one which I’m not fully confident of answering just yet. I do know that Salvia gives me a perspective on the real world — and sometimes on myself — that I simply cannot get through any other means. This, to me, is an incredibly exciting prospect; it is this sense of high adventure that allows me to enjoy it time and time again.
That my friends ask this question is indicative of their views on the drug: many simply don’t like it. They’re open minded people and have all tried it for themselves (which, of course, is the only way to really discover if it is something that you think you might be able to enjoy). The thing is, though, that my friends have all grown up smoking cannabis. They expected — wanted and hoped, probably — that Salvia would be a legal version of cannabis. This is not the case, as they found out. Salvia does not provide the mellow, social, mind-numbing (and I mean that in a positive way) fog that cannabis does. This is not a drug that you can take and enjoy with your friends.
Sally D is completely different to anything else you have ever tried. Treat it as such.
